**For students with the option to opt-in to FPF, you have until May 16th at 11:59 PM PDT. Students that were directly admitted into FPF must accept their offer of admission from UC Berkeley by May 15th at 11:59 PM PDT.

Before You Register
Be sure you are an eligible student who applied to UC Berkeley for admission by the application deadline.
Follow the next steps for first-year applicants, in order to keep track of your application progress, make any updates, and complete any required tasks.
When first-year admit decisions are posted, students who have been admitted to UC Berkeley and are eligible for FPF will be notified in the student application portal (MAP@Berkeley).

For students who want to opt-in to FPF
Accept your offer of admission for UC Berkeley by May 15th at 11:59 PM PDT. After accepting your offer, through the student application portal (MAP@Berkeley) select the “First Year Pathway Selection" under "Forms" to register for FPF by May 16th at 11:59 PM PDT.
For students who were directly admitted to FPF
Accept your offer of admission for UC Berkeley through the student application portal (MAP@Berkeley) by May 15th at 11:59 PM PDT. After accepting your offer, you are registered for the Fall Program for First Semester.
Once you've registered for the Fall Program for First Semester, you will receive a confirmation email outlining next steps.
